The 4th Annual Americana Show!

Hey everyone! I would like to invite you all to the 4th Annual Americana Show sponsored by Generations Solutions, Mass Mutual, At Home Gourmet, Tharp Funeral Home, and Prototype Advertising.   It will be held in the Multi Purpose Building at Heritage Baptist Church, On the corner of 221 and 501 on Breezewood Drive (Behind Famous Anthony's) on Friday August the 19 starting at 7:00 PM.

There will be lots AMAZING TALENT from Lynchburg College, Liberty University and Sweet Briar College! (Plus several homeschoolers) We will be performing songs from- Phantom of the Opera, Oklahoma, The Music Man, Mary Poppins and much more! I would love to see you there!

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

As requested I will now do a book review on "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe"

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe was written by C.S Lewis and was first published in the United Kingdom by Geoffrey Bles in 1950.  It is about four siblings, two boys and two girls named Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy.

The book is set in 1940 England were the children's father is fighting in World War II. To protect them from the war there mother sends them to live with Professor Digory Kirk who has a large house in the country. While playing hide and seek Lucy finds a most interesting hiding place...  I absolutely love this book and would recommend it to anyone any age!  C.S. Lewis is a remarkable author and I would recommend the WHOLE Chronicles of Narnia series!

Guys and Dolls jr.

Hey Everyone! The reason that I have not posted in a while is because I was in Guys and Dolls jr, at the Academy of Fine Arts. A few weeks ago I did my final show . It has been an AMAZING experience! I was a Hot Box Girl,(One of Adelaide's friends) a Bobby Soxer, (I get famous people's autographs) and a Havana Dancer. (I dance in Havana, Cuba!)

Every other day we alternated between 6 different classes. (Three a day) They were-Makeup,Music,Acting,Stage Combat, Tech and Dance.
