The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

As requested I will now do a book review on "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe"

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe was written by C.S Lewis and was first published in the United Kingdom by Geoffrey Bles in 1950.  It is about four siblings, two boys and two girls named Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy.

The book is set in 1940 England were the children's father is fighting in World War II. To protect them from the war there mother sends them to live with Professor Digory Kirk who has a large house in the country. While playing hide and seek Lucy finds a most interesting hiding place...  I absolutely love this book and would recommend it to anyone any age!  C.S. Lewis is a remarkable author and I would recommend the WHOLE Chronicles of Narnia series!

I wanted to wish you all a Happy Memorial Day/Summer Break and Good Luck on final tests!

So many things. So little time!

Hobbit in 5

Hey Everyone! Most of my friends know that I LOVE Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (book and movie).  I also can not wait for 'The Hobbit' movie to come out in 2012, directed by Peter Jackson.  (he also directed the movie trilogy Lord of the Rings) There is a Youtube channel called  Hobbit in 5. They have a new episode each Friday.  Each new episode is jammed packed with professional and reliable information on the crew, set and much more for the movie Hobbit. Something that I am excited about is that many of the actors from LOTR will be returning for the 'Hobbit'.  Examples-Ian McKellen (Gandalf)- Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins)   Here are the links to two sites that you may enjoy- Ian McKellen's www.mckellen.com        The Hobbit's site- www.thehobbitblog.com

I hope that this is some good info for all you LOTR and Hobbit fans!
