Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hello everyone!! It most certainly is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We finished decorating our Christmas tree the other day and I love it!! We have strung garland over the mantel, and we've got a lit up bear out side, (affectionately named Cookie!)

But now it's time to backtrack to Thanksgiving!! I made my first two pies ever!!! One apple and one pumpkin! They were a hit!!

Thanksgiving and book reviews!!!

Hey Guys!! I am pretty sure that everyone is very excited about Thanksgiving break! I know I am!
There are so many things that we are reminded of to be thankful for when thanksgiving comes around! Even little things like pie and turkey!!

Also I just read the book "The Thirteenth Princess" for the second time!! I really love that book! It is very well written!

Since that book review was short and since I have ready done a review on that book anyway, I have decided to do another review.

The lucky book is called "Detectives in Togas" by Henry Winterfeld. It is an Elementery book but it is Hilarious!! It's about several boys who go to Xanthos' school. When one of them is accused of writing the fatal words "Ciaus is a Dumbell" on a sacred temple wall his friends must save him from what they are sure is an unjust trial!

This is defanantly a must read!!! Ciao and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

iPhone

Hey everyone, this is my first time doing a blog post from a phone!

Yesterday we waited in at&t's line for a longgggg time, But it was worth it! I now own my first phone! It's a WHITE iPhone so it looks (I think) more modern and sci-fi'ish than the black one!

Sooo cool! Just wanted to try it out!
See ya,

Inkheart

Hey Everyone,
Yesterday I started the book Inkheart. I am in LOVE!  :)  Though I am only at about 100 pages and am only in the first book I have to say the story line is amazing!!!! I can't do a complete book review since I haven't even finished the first book, but once I have finished the series I will do a review on all three books!

Never stop reading!

Fahrenheit 451

Today I wanted to do a review on a book that I just finished~Fahrenheit 451~ It was written by Ray Bradbury and was published in 1953 by Ballentine Books. It does contain adult language but I must say that it is an Adult Fiction book not Young Adult or Juvenile, and if you want I am pretty sure that you could find a censored version if necessary.

Summary,
The system was simple. Everyone understood it. Books were for burning, along with the houses in which they were hidden.

Guy Montag was a fireman whose job it was to start fires. And he enjoyed his job. He had been a fireman for ten years, and he has never questioned the pleasure of the midnight runs nor the joy of watching pages consumed by flames... never questioned anything until he met a seventeen-year-old girl who told him of a past when people were not afraid. Then Guy met a professor who told him of a future in which people could think. And Guy Montag suddenly realized what he had to do...

The plot of this book is AMAZING, sometimes strange but never too confusing.
I can't get over how much I love this book, and I hope you appreciate it as much as I do!
