The Traitors Gate By:Avi

This book was great! I am lacking in the scope of my mystery book knowledge (besides Nancy Drew. *Blush* That was a while ago!) so this was a book that I hoped I would enjoy. I wanted to give this book five stars but then I realized that I didn't like it as much as my other five star books such as Hunger Games and Lord of the Rings. There were two points in the book where I started slipping down the dangerous slope of Losing Interest, but right then when the reading was getting slow, up popped a change in the story, another suspect added, a twist in the plot. I was also able to appreciate this story because of all the references to Dickens and his David Copperfield! This story was really cool! I can't wait to read my next books by Avi:Midnight Magic and Murder at Midnight!

Psst! Blog viewers over here... I also want to set up a system for when I review books instead of just saying random stuff about the book I'm reviewing! (any suggestions) Sooo hopefully some development on that idea soon! And if your wondering, no, exam week isn't done yet and neither are my Exams but I just completed Traitors Gate and I just HAD to do a review! :) See you all soon!

P.S. GoodReads is AWESOME!!!!!

Mission Imposible: Ghost Protocol

A couple of days ago I watched Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. I really liked it! This is the first MI (mission impossible) movie I have seen. ( But I have watched Tom Cruise before.) This movie was hilarious!!!!!! I mean Simon Pegg is soo funny! The whole concept was pretty neat and the action shots were great! As my friend Jam said in her review of MI:GP Tom Cruise can run. Fast. I loved all the chase scenes, like when Ethan is chasing the man with the files (sorry I forgot his name! :O) right when the sand storm comes. I mean that was great! But they also did the non-chase scenes well such as when they get the files from the assassin. (I won't say to much on that scene because you have to watch it for your self!) Everyone did a really good job and I really enjoyed watching my first Mission Impossible movie!

As a side note-There is one part where Agent Carter has to seduce a bad guy to get some codes but nothing happens and Ethan kisses Carter but besides that this movie was clean. As for bloodiness there were a few bashed up faces and such but nothing too gruesome or disturbing!

Simon Pegg as Bengi Dunn

 Jeremy Renner as William Brendt

Léa Seydoux as Sabine Moreau

Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt

Paula Patton as Agent Carter

Mocking Jay

Ok... Umm... Well when I thought that Catching Fire was a shocker.. well.. I hadn't read Mocking Jay yet. I loved this book and for once I was satisfied with the wrap up at the end. Usually the reason I am mad at a book is because the story was great but the ending didn't explain everything and was just really lame. Mocking Jay wasn't like that. It had a bittersweet ending that I was satisfied with. When I found out which boy Katniss chose I went out to mow the lawn which gave me a good excuse to mull over the decision. I found that though it was a bittersweet decision I was satisfied and was not (as I had been afraid of) ripped in two over the boy chosen and the one who was not. The only thing that I can say I didn't like was all the deaths. 3 people I loved were killed at one point or another (along with many minor characters whom I really liked) but I just kept telling myself that if they hadn't died the story would have been unrealistically good and happy. I could keep going on and on about what I loved, what I hated, and what I was shocked at but there would be to many spoilers for those who haven't read all the books yet. :) So take the advise of myself and many others and GO READ THE SERIES NOW!!!!!!!!

P.S. I wouldn't recommend reading the books if you don't like 1.Falling in love 2.Going to battle 3.Seeing people that you love blown to bits or 4.Bittersweet endings. I don't like 3 and most of the time I don't like 4 either, but Suzanne Collins has done it in the best of ways so that just when you feel like your heart is broken in two and can never be repaired all of a sudden you find that it can be mended and though you still have plenty of scars from being starved and beat and burned you are whole once again and you find that you are Content and Satisfied.
